How make Nitrous Oxide? All you need are a few easily obtainable ingredients. What you will actually be making is di-Nitrous Oxide – NOS -N2O. Just remember – this is only for fun do not inhale, do not sell.

To make your own nitrous oxide, the main source for your NO2 will be Ammonium Nitrate, NH4NO3 which is available Here . The chemical is sold as “instant ice” because when dissolved in water it is an endothermic process and it cools down rapidly.

Be warned, Ammonium Nitrate is also an explosive. When heated above 200° pure ammonium nitrate can explode. The gas will begin to be given off at a temperature below this so reduce or remove heat as soon as nitrous oxide ha begun to be given off.
